You can specify how each layer is to be processed by Sure Cuts A Lot. By default, each layer will be cut. If you want to change the layer, you can set the name of the Layer to one of the following:
- SCAL.DRAW: This layer will be set to Draw with a pen instead of cut with a blade.
- SCAL.CUTONLY: For Print+Cut purposes, this layer is set to be Cut and not printed with a printer.
- SCAL.PRINTONLY: For Print+Cut purposes, this layer is set to Print and not cut with your cutting machine.
- SCAL.SCORE: This layer will be set to Score (Kiss Cut).
- SCAL.COLORLAYERKEY: When using Cut by Color, this layer will be cut with all colors cut out (PRO Version only)
If your cutting machine model has the capability to hold 2 separate tools at the same time, you can specify which tool should be used for the layer. By default, each layer will cut with tool 1.
- SCAL.TOOL2: Layer will use use tool 2
- SCAL.DRAW.TOOL2: Can combine with cut line type, so would be used if you have a Pen in the second tool holder.
- SCAL.SCORE.TOOL1: Example to score with tool 1
