There are two methods to Activate the software.
The easiest method to activate is to choose Activate in the program and enter your Name and Serial Number as shown in the
Auto Activation Steps.
The other method is to manually generate an Activation Code to enter into the software as shown in the
Manual Activation Steps.
1. Auto Activation
If your computer has Internet access, the easiest way to activate the software is to launch the program and click the
Activate button.
Enter your
Name and
Serial Number and click
OK.
If everything is OK, you should see a window indicating it is activated.
If you get an error:
- Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after any values entered.
- You enter the Serial Number with the dashes.
- You enter the Serial Number for the software and not your cutting machine.
- You do not have any firewall/security software blocking the connection to the craftedge.com site
If it still fails, you can try to manually activate.
2. Manual Activation
Launch the program and click the Activate button.
Check the Activate manually check box and it will display the Site Code and Activation Code fields. The Site Code will automatically be filled in and cannot be changed.
Go to the activation page on the craftedge.com website and enter your Name, Serial Number and the Site Code into the web page and click the Generate Activation Code button.
If entered OK, it will generate an Activation Code which you can copy back into the program.
If everything is OK, you should see a window indicating it is activated.
